Taylor draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based practices. She has experience working with clients in acute crisis at an inpatient facility, running outpatient groups for co-occurring disorders, counseling students in schools through individual sessions and group therapy, and is proud of her passion and knowledge for plants after retiring from her career as an Operations Manager at Moana Nursery to pursue work as a therapist.

She enjoys studying and reading books of all genres and frequently devotes time to learning through continuing education units (CEUs).
